MOGA Festival Reveals Tasteful First Wave For 2024 Edition

The life-enriching MOGA is back after a two year hiatus with another exceptional experience featuring an eclectic mix of music, wellness, art, and conferences in Essaouira for its 5th edition from October 2-6.

The much-loved cultural gathering spans five days and features a wealth of activities and concerts in the city center (from October 2-3) and the irresistible main events at the Sofitel Essaouira Mogador Golf & Spa (October 4-6).

The first lineup announcement includes Dekmantel Soundsystem, DJ Tennis, dOP, Margaret Dygas, Seth Troxler, Rhadoo, Prins Thomas, Hunee, Sonja Moonear, Shkoon and more.

The festival’s Portuguese edition recently set a record with 23,000 attendees. The Moroccan edition aims to host 16,000 festival-goers, 30% of whom are international. The OFF program on October 2-3 offers free and paid activities in Essaouira, including workshops, yoga classes, and concerts.

Among the international artists, the best of the Moroccan electronic scene was represented and the country was also highlighted through a multitude of cultural initiatives including a mural by street artist Said Sabah created with the support of the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, as well as the Almada City Hall.

From October 4-6, the Sofitel Essaouira Mogador Golf & Spa will feature five stages with Moroccan, Portuguese, and international artists for the first time in two years after last year’s edition was cancelled due to an earthquake in the region.

For the 2024 edition, the word and wonderful sounds of Seth Toxler will be joined by Scandi-disco king Prins Thomas, Zurich DJ and club owner Kalabrese brings his minimalist disco, Romanian techno pioneers Praslea and Rhadoo drop stylish sounds, and the popular Pachanga Boys, known for their loved up mix of house, prog and plenty in between, also play, as do notable French house trio Apollonia with their famously deep and heady sounds.

On top of this will be cult Japanese minimalist Fumiya Tanaka, the love-fueled selections of disco, soul and house man Hunee, live shows from Stavroz, ADASSIYA and French outfit dOP, house and techno brilliance from Margaret Dygas and heady loops from Maayan Nidam and much more to come.

The SAGA Festival Announces the Daily Lineup for Its 2024 Edition

There are only 7 days left until the fourth edition of the SAGA festival, which will take place at Romaero between July 5-7. All music lovers will have the chance to listen to over 150 artists, many of them performing for the first time in Romania. Among the most anticipated are Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora, Tyla, Armin Van Buuren and Hardwell.

Nicki Minaj, the queen of rap music, will be the headliner this year and will perform for the first time in Romania at the biggest and most beloved music festival in Bucharest.

The artist marks a premiere in Eastern Europe, adding Romania to the list of countries where she will perform during the famous „PINK FRIDAY 2 WORLD TOUR” and promises an unforgettable experience for SAGA festival fans.

The Israeli singer and songwriter Dennis Lloyd, who conquered all the charts with his 2016 song “Nevermind” is also coming to Romania for the first time on the SAGA 2024 stage. South African singer Tyla is making her SAGA debut and will be one of the headliners at this year’s festival. Tyla won a Grammy Award for “Best African Music Performance” for her song “Water”.

Nico Moreno, the 24-year-old industrial techno producer and DJ will also perform in Romania the first time. However, the stage will also feature world-renowned artists who have performed at previous years’ editions: Armin van Buuren, Loreen, ARTBAT, James Hype, Indira, and Deborah de Luca.

Romanian Artists at SAGA Festival 2024 – Romania will be represented this year on the SAGA stage by popular artists such as Smiley, Paraziții, Subcarpați, Mihail, and The Motans.

So far, over 100,000 tickets have been sold, and the single-day tickets for Sunday, as well as the GA+ (General Access Plus) passes, are already SOLD OUT. The following types of tickets are still available and can be purchased on the official website.

● General Access Pass: 412 RON for those under 21 years old, and 522 RON for those over 21 years old. For VIP tickets, with access to the VIP platform at the Mainstage and the Techno stage, the price is 935 RON, including taxes.
● One-Day Pass: 220 RON, or 494 RON for the VIP ticket for Friday, and 250 RON, or 522 RON for the VIP ticket for Saturday.

Innellea Remixes WhoMadeWho & Blue Hawaii’s track “Kiss Me Hard”

Danish trio WhoMadeWho and Canadian duo Blue Hawaii have enlisted Munich-based live act, DJ, and producer Innellea to remix their latest collaborative single, “Kiss Me Hard.”

The trio continues to raise the bar on their creative output as they approach the release of their upcoming album, Kiss & Forget, expanding the impressive range of their LP remixers.

The release also arrives on the heels of the lineup announcement for the second edition of WhoMadeWho’s label festival, The Moment, which will return to their hometown of Copenhagen, Denmark on August 7, 8, and 9, 2024. The Innellea remix of “Kiss Me Hard” is due for release on June 28.

The original record offers a dreamy, nostalgia-laden tune that fuses WhoMadeWho’s bold electronic textures with Blue Hawaii’s synth-infused indie dance flair. In his remix, Innellea flips the hazy, wistful tone of the original into a moody, dark, and thumping basement weapon.

His thunderous production heightens the senses, juxtaposing Blue Hawaii’s youthful vocal with an acid-drenched instrumental.
