In these exceptional and challenging times, Tomorrowland festival wants to unite the People of Tomorrow across the globe – through the power of music. As a worldwide community, Tomorrowland wishes to continue to connect people by giving hope and looking forward to a bright future.

On Tuesday March 31 from 15:00 CEST, Tomorrowland is hosting ‘Tomorrowland Presents: United Through Music‘, a unique live broadcast on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tomorrowland.com and One World Radio featuring exclusive sets by Dimitri Vegas, Afrojack, Lost Frequencies and Vintage Culture, interacting and uniting with people from all over the world.

Tomorrowland is inviting four world class artists who will be spreading good vibes and great music from their homes into the living rooms of viewers and listeners around the world during this unique live show: Belgian multi-platinum awarded superstar Dimitri Vegas, the Dutch Grammy award winning DJ & producer Afrojack, the young Belgian prodigy Lost Frequencies and Brazilian star and household name Vintage Culture.

Each artist will play a uniquely curated set, while One World Radio‘s host Adam K will present the show from his home studio in London and interact with the different artists and the People of Tomorrow that are watching and listening at home.

With Lika Morgan paying tribute to the original’s iconic vocals, this rendition eases the listener in with a stripped back instrumental arrangement and soaring synths. Vital Belgian house artist Nico Morano launches his new label, Ontourage Music. The debut release is a terrific new track featuring Nathan Nicholson, aptly timed to have arrived for Spring.

Morano has his own sleek house sound and always blends real melody and depth. As a DJ, he is on top of the league in Belgium and plays regularly in clubs like Fuse, Ampere or Club Vaag. He has hosted his own Nico & Friends stages at Tomorrowland & Paradise City Festival and is getting internationally noticed by labels like Selador, Days Like Nights, Click Records, Récits de Mars or Sincopat.

He now starts a fresh and exciting new label, named after building suspense and awareness through his Ontourage event series which has seen him perform at the most incredible landmarks around Belgium; Gaasbeek Castle, Saint Peters Abbey, Antwerp Station.

The new single, Blackout, is a vocal delight with deep, rubbery drums and icy hi-hats . The whole production slowly but surely lifts you up into a state of trance and then showers you in lush melodies. The emotive vocals will send shivers down your spine and are sure to mark the high-point in any rounded DJ set.

Above & Beyond drops Club Mix of ‘Bittersweet & Blue’

Debuted to the world at their Group Therapy 350 celebrations in Prague in October 2019, Above & Beyond‘s Club Mix of ‘Bittersweet & Blue’ is out now just for your listening pleasure.

The band is joined once again by Richard Bedford, the voice of Anjuna classics such as ‘Alone Tonight’ and ’Sun & Moon’.

‘Bittersweet & Blue’ was an introspective moment on Above & Beyond‘s 2018 album ‘Common Ground’, which debuted at number three on the Billboard Top 100 album chart.

Reflecting on themes of hope, ambition, and absence, sometimes getting what you want isn’t the fulfillment you wished for. The trio’s arena-tested Club Mix is out now to buy and stream (alongside the original mix) on Anjunabeats.

Ferry Corsten’s new album ‘As Above So Below’ released under his FERR alias

FERR, the alias from electronic music DJ and producer Ferry Corsten, is the showcase of a body of intimate compositions by an artist who for over 25 years has perhaps been more associated with the higher BPM ranges of the music world.

Encapsulated in a new album titled ‘As Above So Below‘, FERR by Ferry Corsten is a new canvas by which he’ll paint melodic experimental arrangements alongside deep and expansive cinematic themes, in what can perhaps be regarded as his most ambitious, avant-garde music to date.

Announced via an open letter to his fans and music fans at large, Ferry explained what led him to craft an album of this type and also what his inspirations were behind its creation. Amidst his hectic touring schedule, the FERR project and this debut studio album ‘As Above So Below‘ is a catalogue of work that reflects a deeper side to Ferry, as a producer, a DJ, a husband, and a father, it shows the person and how he manages to balance his own life and find his personal still point in the world.

‘As Above So Below‘ allows Ferry the space in which to express his creativity in full flow, unbound by limitations and to fully expand on musical ideas without an end goal in mind. Explorations in sample manipulation, field recording, and subtle distortions are abundant throughout the album, as Ferry explores new ways to bring his latest vision to life, utilizing reverbs, delays, room noise, and tape flutters to build up textures that are coaxed into the field of sound over time.

Speaking further on the album and his change in approach on ‘As Above So Below‘, Ferry commented:

“I normally produce with a certain structure in mind, which is mostly designed for the dancefloor amongst other things. For this album, however, I went in with a completely blank piece of paper, shut off the autopilot and just went with the flow. No rules, no overthinking. Just let it come naturally. That was one of the biggest changes to how I approached the whole process of making this album.”

As an artist who continues to challenge what it means to be an artist in dance music today, this transparent relationship and sharing his most inward and creative thoughts with his fans, Ferry Corsten has exhibited yet another multi-faceted side to his spectrum of interests and talents, ‘As Above So Below‘.

Often in a world of chaos, we all need our own little piece of calm, and perhaps none more so than in these current times. Through ‘As Above So Below‘, Ferry Corsten seeks to express his own interpretation of tranquillity and enables others to find their peaceful moment of reflection that allows the listener to find their equilibrium.

Together with Finnish duo Super8 & Tab, the Dutchman dropped a brand-new single called ‘Leka‘, kicking off the pre-order of the ‘A State Of Trance 2020‘ album in the best possible way.

The first-ever link-up between Armin van Buuren and Super8 & Tab, ‘Leka‘ is a definite contender for the most exciting link-up of the year. From the epic chords in the equally mind-blowing breakdown to the grand synths and iconic melody, this track is sure to cement its spot on many a Trance fan’s shortlist.

Until the official release of ‘A State Of Trance 2020‘ on April 24, Armin van Buuren will tease a new track every week. elrow and Desperados bring Home Sessions to encourage virtual social partying

On March 15th, elrow began offering Live Sessions through Facebook Live with some of its resident artists and friends such as Andrés Campo and Bastian Bux, who have gone above and beyond to provide fans with some of their best sessions, and above all have provided entertainment in these days of quarantine.

Due to the popularity of the streams, elrow has decided to continue broadcasting its “Home Sessions” indefinitely every Sunday from 4:00 p.m. C.E.T. They will convert the action to a live program format and from its next edition on the 29th of March with Desperados coming on board as the main sponsor and DJ Mag Spain joining the party.

Also noteworthy is the collaboration of digital media such as @technomad and @techno.withus that will promote the program on their official Instagram channels in Spain and the United States.

The next artist on board for the Home Sessions will be the new Resident DJ Viviana Casanova. Viviana joined the ranks of elrow last year, after putting her music in clubs and festivals such as the Origen Fest in Mallorca, the Blue Marlin in Ibiza and Sala Apolo in Barcelona among many others. Viviana defines her music as a mix of Deep, Tech-House, and Techno with rhythms from Hip Hop.

Kölsch drops his new EP, ‘Time/Sleeper Must Awaken’, and announces new album

Techno DJ and producer, Kölsch has unveiled ‘Time / Sleeper Must Awaken’, his second EP in quick succession, out today via Kompakt.

Comprised of two cinematic techno tracks, the EP opens with vocal-led, melodic cut ‘Time‘. A collaboration with striking Brooklyn duo Beacon, the track is teeming with emotion and energy.

Next up, ‘Sleeper Must Awaken‘ is characterized by robotic, trance-indebted synth stabs and an ethereal breakdown in its latter stages. A staple of his recent sets, the track sees Kölsch revert to a more minimalistic approach that’s closer to his ‘classic’ sound.

“There are some artists I like, and there are some I’m obsessed with,” Kölsch explains, as he reflects on the process of creating ‘Time’.

“Beacon sits firmly in the last category. Over the years, I’ve been listening to their albums religiously. They have accompanied me on flights, trains and in cars. It’s been such an honor joining forces in a NY studio, and Time is the result of our effort.”

Discussing ‘Sleeper Must Awaken‘, he continues: “In any art form, the hardest exercise is to reduce. Stripping away layers is similar to throwing away your most prized possessions. The result Is fascinating. Only the essential is left, and the message is clear.”

The EP follows on from January’s ‘Shoulders Of Giants / Glypto‘, a two-track release underpinned by orchestral elements and laden with poignancy. Kölsch has also taken the opportunity to announce a new album, Now Here, No Where.

Released via Kompakt, the album marks his first since completing his acclaimed trilogy 1977, 1983 and 1989, and looks set to push his creative boundaries yet further again.

A mainstay on the era-defining Kompakt imprint, Kölsch has built a reputation around his emotional brand of melodic techno, collaborating with the likes of Coldplay, Imogen Heap, London Grammar, Tiga and Michael Mayer.

A master of crafting tracks that appeal to both body and soul, ‘Time / Sleeper Must Awaken‘ is Kölsch at his bold and daring best.

Amid the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the summer because of the Coronavirus, the organisers behind UNTOLD festival are in high spirits, confident that this year’s edition “Luna The Rising” will go on as planned to offer up another unforgettable party. Check out their official statement below!

“UNTOLD 2020 preparations go on!

UNTOLD is a responsible organization, that has always put the safety of its fans first. With every edition we make, we closely collaborate with all the authorities, providing an example of security for events all over the world. It is important to understand and support the decisions of our authorities and take all the necessary measures, in the short term, concerning the Coronavirus.

Right now, prevention is essential. We organize the most important event in Romania, we are aware of how big our fan’s expectations are. In order to be able to enjoy a summer full of events, we need to treat this situation objectively, with calm and responsibility. At this moment, everyone’s safety is the most important thing to us all, so we are open to supporting in any way the efforts of our authorities.

We are in permanent contact with the authorities and we are carefully watching the evolution of this situation with responsibility. For this reason, we advise everyone to read the news from trustful, authorized sources, to follow the recommendations of the authorities and to take into consideration all the preventive measures announced by authorities, in order to stop the spread of the virus.

We want to assure our fans that our work for the most awaited festival in Romania – UNTOLD – is going further. We are optimists and we work intensive in the next 5 months, as we always did, to bring joy to the people in the summer when our festival will take place.

We are confident that the measures taken both internationally and nationally by the authorities, in conjunction with the awareness of each human being, to respect the preventive and protection measures for everyone’s safety, will have a positive effect in the upcoming months.”

Basic protective measures against the novel Coronavirus, according to WHO, include washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand sanitizer, maintaining social distancing at least three feet between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing, and avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.
