The sultry track, released today on Monstercat, marks the debut collaboration from these electronic powerhouses.

Rezz shares: “Virtual Riot and I met up at deadmau5’s house and we worked on a song together. I then hit up One True God and he smashed the vocal! Really happy with how this song turned out. Virtual Riot was super fun to work with especially as he’s such a genius with mixing/mastering.”
Virtual Riot adds: “In life people often choose what’s familiar to them over what’s actually good for them. There is safety in the familiarity of something, even if it might be bad for you, and this was the emotional headspace for writing the track.
This was all before Alan (One True God) joined in on the track and after he had already written the lyrics and recorded the vocal, he asked us about the background story of the instrumental. We were completely floored that he absolutely nailed the emotion and feeling the instrumental was aiming for without knowing any of this.”
