Following its lauded flagship celebration in Mannheim, foremost electronic music institution Time Warp unveils its 30-year anniversary celebration in New York, in partnership with longstanding partner and events collective Teksupport. Taking place 22-23 November, the event will see 21 artists perform over 2 nights across 2 floors of Brooklyn Navy Yard.
A pillar of the global techno community for 30 years, Time Warp‘s cultural significance expands far beyond its roots in Mannheim. Its peerless fusion of cutting edge production, dynamic programming, and immersive audio/visuals set a global standard for world-class electronic event experiences.
Time Warp has built itself around a legacy of family, a refrain repeated again and again both within the community of artists that have grown central to the event, and the tens of thousands of fans who make the pilgrimage to Mannheim every year.
In line with Time Warp‘s customarily deft approach to sonic curation, the New York celebration will see both new and established members of the Time Warp family perform. Longstanding Time Warp affiliate Sven Väth — a part of the festival since its debut in 1995 — will join a host of familiar faces in Chilean minimal maestro Ricardo Villalobos, Nina Kraviz, Héctor Oaks, and Kobosil, artists interminably entwined in Time Warp‘s revered history.
Perennially acclaimed for its progressive programming, the event will see further performances from an array of visionaries across the house and techno spectrum. Marquee billings include scene veteran DJ Tennis who’ll perform back-to-back with Innervisions affiliate Jimi Jules, Anfisa Letyago who will play with Héctor Oaks, and Indira Paganotto.
The lineup continues with a swathe of next generation talent that represent the new eclectic tides of global electronic, such as Afriqua, DJ Gigola, AQUTIE, Patrick Mason, Tony Y Not and more.
