Enigmatic DJ and producer Claptone and iconic nightspot Amnesia announce the homecoming of one of Ibiza’s most celebrated and unique events, ‘The Masquerade’ – bringing more magic and mystery to the White Isle than ever before.
Ibiza has become the spiritual home of Claptone and ‘The Masquerade‘, with a residency on the island since 2018. ‘The Masquerade’ takeovers were originally born at Amnesia – as Claptone says, “I am excited to return to Amnesia this year as it’s where I started ‘The Masquerade‘ in Ibiza – so it’s a sort of a homecoming for me! I can’t wait to return for another unforgettable season on the White Isle!”
It’s huge news for the island, with one of its most beloved parties relocating to one of its most iconic clubs for Tuesdays on the Amnesia Terrace. Coming off its most successful and attended season to date last year, ‘The Masquerade’ has showcased world exclusive B2Bs from the likes of Purple Disco Machine, Diplo, Wade and Fatboy Slim.
The brand has also seen great success exporting Ibiza to the rest of the world, with sold out shows in destinations from Mexico City to Malaga to Medellin to Miami to Manchester. Other DJs to have graced the stage include John Summit, MK, James Hype, Dom Dolla, Vintage Culture, Armand Van Helden, Meduza, Faithless and Pete Tong.
Working in tandem with Amnesia and HE.SHE.THEY., who will occupy the main room, ‘The Masquerade’ now lays the foundations for a new era with fresh artists, incredible production and theatrics that draw on the club’s rich Ibizan history, while Claptone’s beloved musical curation and peerless DJ sets draw in the crowds.
Tuesday nights on the Amnesia Terrace will be a place to escape reality and dance in the magical world of Claptone. The Masquerade awaits for all those who dare.
