Following his latest single release ‘NO8DO’, a record specifically written for his groundbreaking Cercle set at Plaza de Espana in Seville, Spain, the Globally acclaimed DJ/Producer Mochakk returns with ‘Jealous,’ a classic house track and the first release from his upcoming EP on CircoLoco Records.
‘Jealous‘ is a driving, upfront classic house track featuring classic vocals from Loleatta Holloway‘s ‘Dreamin‘ and modern influences from the young Brazilian house music maestro. Only the eighth release from CircoLoco records, ‘Jealous‘, comes on the heels of a barrage of records from some of the biggest names in electronic music today, solidifying Mochakk’s position at the forefront of the house music scene.
The record puts a pumping kick drum and white hot snares with winding high-energy basslines. All the while, an unforgettable sample from Lolleatta Holloway‘s ’77 classic, ‘Dreamin‘ guides the upbeat track to make a modern rework with sounds straight from the heart of classic Chicago house music. Mochakk has brought his signature flavor to produce a party track that is equally at home on the sandy beaches of Ibiza as the warehouse parties in New York City.
“I’ve been waiting for Jealous to be released for so long, it’s probably the track I got asked about most this year. It’s definitely the biggest track in the set almost every time I play it and I just can’t wait for it to be released. Circoloco Records. August 25th. Blow it up!”- Mochakk
With hits like ‘Da Fonk‘ and ‘Diu Diu Lai‘ to his name, along with remixes for Lil Louie Vega, The Martinez Brothers, and his latest remix of Diplo‘s ‘Express Yourself‘, a record which got over 1.5M streams and reached the top 10 in the Beatport Global Charts, Mochakk has been dominating the global electronic music scene as he brings his reputation as Brazil’s biggest underground dance music star to clubs and festivals worldwide.
Named one of BBC Radio 1’s Future New Stars of 2023, the 23-year-old Brazilian has been busy captivating crowds at Coachella, Printworks, EDC, Lollapalooza, CircoLoco Ibiza, Sonar, and many more this year alone.
