Insomniac today announced the highly anticipated music festival lineup for Electric Daisy Carnival – EDC Las Vegas 2023.
Returning to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Friday, May 19 through Sunday, May 21, a spirited and bright community of more than 525,000 attendees will come together for three nights to celebrate life, love, art, and music underneath the Electric Sky to bring the unparalleled world of EDC to life. Across nine stages of music, more than 230 artists make up the EDC Las Vegas lineup, which is curated annually to showcase the various cornerstones of dance music culture.
The 2023 lineup proudly showcases an array of electronic sounds and genres, and presents a diverse roster of talented artists from various origins, regions and genders, coming together with the passionate community of fans, known lovingly as Headliners, that have transformed EDC into a globally-recognized symbol of peace, unity and fun.
In a weekend full of surprises and once-in-a-lifetime moments, EDC‘s nine legendary stages will welcome the world’s best dance music producers including the likes of David Guetta, Kaskade, FISHER, Duke Dumont, Zedd, Marshmello, Afrojack, Chris Lake, and many more. GRAMMY award-winning artist Tiësto, the only artist to have performed at every iteration of EDC Las Vegas, will return to kineticFIELD for a record twelfth time, while Armin van Buuren will bring his signature state of trance to the stage for the tenth time in his career.
Above & Beyond will make their long awaited return to EDC Las Vegas, taking over EDC for the first time since 2019, and Gareth Emery will perform a career-spanning decades set, treating Headliners to 10+ years of undeniable hits. New to EDC this year, quantumVALLEY will also present a full day of melodic music with a curated lineup of progressive sounds.
Across the bassPOD, best known for its presentation of dubstep, drum & bass, and experimental sounds, EDC’s beloved back-to-back sets return with Borgore b2b Level Up, Riot Ten b2b Jessica Audiffred, Sullivan King b2b Kai Wachi, and Excision b2b Dion Timmer.
Dozens of artists will make their festival debut this year, including Kaytranada, Disco Lines, Ben UFO, 999999999, Mochakk, Korolova, Mau P, Rebelion, Jeff Mills and more, plus one of trance music’s most prolific producers, Maarten de Jong, will make his North American festival debut on the EDC stage. In addition to pulling performer duty, James Hype will be providing the anthem to this year’s EDC with the release of “Lose Control“, out May 5 as part of Insomniac Records‘ 2023 EDC Las Vegas compilation album.
Beyond the impressive roster of artists, Headliners will also see brand new state-of-the-art stage designs and an array of immersive and interactive experiences such as a kandi casino, carnival rides, three-dimensional superstructures, a silent disco, roaming art cars, hundreds of costumed performers and other festival moments sure to create memories that will last a lifetime.
For Headliners yearning to match the vivid utopia of EDC, the on-site beauty bar experience is transforming with multiple locations across the festival grounds. In celebration of Insomniac‘s 30th anniversary, the new and improved beauty bar will be traveling around the country to a multitude of Insomniac festivals, along with Anniversary Lane – Insomniac’s brand new immersive activation that highlights iconic throwback performers from the past 30 years and provides Headliners with an Insomniac branded photo opportunity.
Beginning April 10, fans are encouraged to give back to the community with the return of the annual EDC Las Vegas Charity Auction. Leading up to the highly-anticipated festival, the event raises funds for selected local organizations. This year, 100 percent of the proceeds will go towards supporting the Inspiring Children Foundation and Camp Alamo. The auction includes 30+ once-in-a-lifetime artist-related experiences and exclusive packages that fans can bid on, such as backstage festival access, meet & greet opportunities, tickets to other Insomniac festivals and more. More details on participating artists and instructions on how to bid to win will be revealed Monday, April 10.
