The Black V Neck boys have become widely known as a powerful force in the world of EDM. Since emerging in 2017, this duo made up of Miami locals Ian and Julian have taken the tech house scene by storm.
They have earned constant support from underground legends, such as Chris Lake, Green Velvet, Lee Foss, and Claude VonStroke, along with electronic figureheads like Diplo and Marshmello. Now they are back at it again and this time they have called upon global superstar DJ, Afrojack.
A little over half a year ago, Black V Neck linked up with Afrojack on their debut collaborative single “Day N Night“, featuring Muni Long. Following up this house heater, the two artists join forces for their brand-new release, “Oral Music“.
Explaining how this collaboration was sparked, Black V Neck states, “The idea of the record came about when we first met Afrojack in the studio. He loved our record ‘Mouth Music’ and wanted to have a similar vibe which led to the creation of “Oral Music.”
Refusing to waste any time supplying insatiable grooves, “Oral Music” starts with an energetic snare-fueled bassline. As the beat introduces exotic soundscapes and more drums, Black V Neck and Afrojack weave in tribal-like vocal chops. This lighthearted anthem is full of twists and turns that keep listeners on their toes. Primed for intimate club play and lighting up the afters, “Oral Music” is sure to be preceded by a stream of Black V Neck bangers in the coming months.
