2023 will see Sonus celebrate 10 years at the very forefront of Croatia’s underground festival scene. Returning from 20th to 24th of August, next year’s special edition will see another world class line-up of international talents on the gorgeous shores of Zrce beach on Croatia’s famous party island Pag.
The first wave of names include favourites like Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Diplo, Paula Temple, Sven Väth, Seth Troxler, ANNA, Vintage Culture, Deborah De Luca, Lilly Palmer, Marco Carola, Sama’ Abdulhadi, The Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, Kobosil, Kölsch, Innellea, Indria Paganotto and many more.
Sonus has brought rare underground quality and a real music-first policy to the shores of Zrce Beach for a decade now. In that time it has become known for its high quality production and world class sound systems. People flock from all over the world to dance at three of the best open air clubs on the continent and a real who’s who of international house and techno talent has played over the years.
The location is a stunning one that submerges you deep in the natural beauty of the sweeping beaches, glistening ocean, towering palm trees and three of DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs – Aquarius, Kalypso and Papaya.
They offer endless chances to dance under the hot sun or by a flame red sunset with pool parties and the famous boat parties all keeping the good vibes alive. The music will play non stop from dusk till dawn for five days and nights and there are plenty of quiet spots and secluded bays to explore as well as a wealth of sun loungers and meandering coastal walks to enjoy.
Musically Sonus mixes fan favourites with underground prodigies and that is the same again this year with all corners of the house and techno spectrum represented. There will also be a special air of excitement to this year’s Sonus as the festival marks 10 years of partying in paradise.
