BEON1X music festival kicks-off in Cyprus and promises to become a notable electronic music festival, with a record number of fans occupying the dance floor at the venue on the first weekend. The festival is envisioned as a starting point for a future large-scale BEON1X Art Cluster – conceived as a unique international socio-cultural project by representatives of the international art, business, and IT communities
Here’s what the team behind Beon1x had to say about the festival:
“It was fantastic, and we are proud to say that BEON1X festival is going great with its animatronics show and fireworks, street art and legendary DJs live performances. It has begun building up its fan base from day one. September 23 is the day when the new history of festivals has begun. With each day of the festival passes we receive positive feedback from the visitors. They appreciated our choice of the line up as well as the high level of management at the venue.
We are witnessing BEON1X turning to be one of the best electronic music festivals of Europe and the neighboring continents. However, it is also very important to remember that BEON1X is more than just a music event – it is the starting point for a large scale BEON1X Art Cluster – envisioned as a unique international socio-cultural project organized by representatives of the international art, business, and IT communities. It will become the major attraction point for open mind people from Europe and other continents”.
The main stage was decorated with 10 light-and-visual panels and giant hands of “La creazione di Adamo” installation. DJs presented a special mix as part of a series of special compilations to celebrate the last warm days, while the fireworks lit up the skies of Cyprus. Superstar DJs and producers such as Carl Cox, Francisco Allendes, Boris Brejcha and many others blasted their live sets to public on the first weekend of the festival.
Carl Cox, a legendary British DJ, pleased his fans with a live-performed mix-set, while the street artist created his portrait in real time on the same stage. Carl Cox has been a part of the UK dance scene from the disco boom of the 80s to the present day when the club movement has gone global. Now he is taking stage at BEON1X to promote a brand new festival to become a global phenomenon.
