German techno icon Paul Kalkbrenner is on a creative tear post-Pandemic, releasing single Si Soy Fuego, selling out multiple stand-alone shows across Europe, including the spectacular Castle Schönbrunn in Vienna, and headlining special sets at Exit Festival, and FEST Festival in Poland.
After announcing his Episode One and Episode Two live show dates in Europe complete with new live concept and ‘2021 Club Edit‘ of Berlin Calling, Paul has unveiled a run of North American tour dates this September in Austin, Montreal, and San Diego. These are his first US shows in over three years, and his first West Coast show since performing his Back To The Future concept in 2017.
Kicking off on Friday, September 24th in Montreal, the tour begins at ÎleSoniq Redux in Parc Jean-Drapeau alongside Deadmau5, Rezz, and more. Paul will be among one of the first artists to perform at Austin’s newest seven acre venue The Concourse Project on Saturday Sept 25th, which will see an opening set from Kölsch. He’ll wrap up the weekend at CRSSD Festival in San Diego on Sunday, September 26th with a sunset performance on the waterfront live stage.
With a catalog that includes eight albums, over 137 individual tracks and numerous remixes, Paul is one of the unique electronic artists who can deliver the ebb and flow of a dancefloor journey using only his own music.
His transcendent live performances have seen Paul break down traditional electronic music barriers, headlining festival and arena stages typically reserved for rockstars. He was the first techno artist to play Tomorrowland‘s typically commercial main stage, and was invited by the German Federal Government to perform to 400,000 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
