Ahead of the debut edition of SAGA Festival in Izvor Park, Bucharest, Amsterdam-based producer Avalan has delivered the official anthem for the 2021 edition of the festival alongside iconic Romanian vocalist, Antonia.
Taking his fresh new collaboration, “Take Me Somewhere“, global, Avalan looks to encapsulate the hearts of dance music fans around the world once more, drawing in unprecedented excitement for the event’s arrival in the Romanian capital, from 10-12 September, later this year.
Picking up where he left off in a break-through 2020, Avalan continues to dominate the dance music scene with his intrinsic melodies and enchanting vocal talents. Following a captivating collaboration with Armin van Buuren last year, his new production “Take Me Somewhere” sees him entrusted with an official festival anthem for the second time in his career.
As he found success with “World We Know” in the form of the Alterboyz remix made exclusively for AMF 2020, he looks to go to the next-level for SAGA Festival in 2021, enlisting Bucharest-born model and superstar singer Antonia, for another spellbinding hit.
“I’m excited to share with you my new song “Take me Somewhere”. It’s an absolute honor to be doing this with such an amazing vocalist like Antonia. We both wanted to do something special and together with ALDA and Global Records we set up a plan to create a track that unites and tells the story about people with wanderlust, that love festivals and just mainly live young, wild and free.
What’s extra special for me is that this song happens in a time where the whole world is slowly opening up again. That’s the reason we decided to release something that a lot of people relate to, can feel good about and most importantly dance to! I hope you like our track as much as we do and we’re more than ready to perform this live during SAGA 2021” – Avalan
With a youthful and uplifting top-line, “Take Me Somewhere” takes on the spirit of an inspirational summer anthem with tantalizing melodies throughout. Homing in on Antonia‘s serene vocals and Avalan‘s impeccably crafted beats, this track is set to become the soundtrack to summer 2021. Expect to hear this enthralling record on heavy rotation in the coming months as festivals are set to mark their eagerly anticipated return.
“I gladly accepted to collaborate with Avalan for the song “Take Me Somewhere”, the anthem of SAGA Festival. It’s a song that makes me think of summer, fun and the freedom to live life to the fullest.” – Antonia
