Debuting in 2017 as a small, one room warehouse event, Terminal V has grown exponentially to become one of the UK’s biggest electronic music events.
Touching down at the Edinburgh Royal Highland Showground, brings a slew of talent from across the house and techno spectrum to a bespoke built 5000 capacity outdoor site on the grounds of the royal highland showground, in contrast to the huge indoor halls the event runs in at Halloween.
Kicking things off on the 7th of August Patrick Topping presents Trick, the Geordie party starter has curated a far ranging line up. Detroit don Floorplan is joined by Warehouse Records owner Mella Dee. Cinthie, the Berlin based DJ who runs influential record store Elevate, will be decamping with her usual on-point selection. As ever Terminal V looks to support the fast-rising talent Elliot Adamson and from the blossoming Scottish scene Ewan Mcvicar present on the line up. Special guest Reinier Zonneveld adds his unique live set to the mix.
Drumcode return to Scotland for the first time in a decade, taking over the second Terminal V Summer Series weekend on the 14th August. All the regulars touch down – Adam Beyer and Alan Fitzpatrick leading the line-up. Brazil’s finest ANNA brings her heavy hitting seductive take on techno alongside Berghain resident and global star Ben Klock. One of Holland’s most respected DJs and Drumcode stalwart Bart Skills showcases his mixing dexterity. Finally Layton Giordani, relative Drumcode young gun, adds his vibes to the mix.
Rounding out the series Terminal V presents Charlotte De Witte on August 21st. This scorcher really delivers the heavy hitters as techno godfather Len Faki sits alongside Adiel who cut her teeth at infamous Goa Club in Rome before ascending the global touring DJ trail. Terminal V favourite Frazi.er returns to the stage after many spellbinding sets as well as fellow local legend Stephen Brown. With the incredible new project Phyxix coming from Ø [Phase] and Matrixxman, two of techno’s most in demand artists, debuting in the UK for the first time – this is one not to miss.
With a reputation for not holding back on aesthetics Terminal V Summer Series to continue this tradition. New, specially designed stage construction and site concept will retain the warehouse rave essence of the brand, but dialled in for an open air, summer feel. Terminal V’s next level production has been a long standing hallmark of their events and the Summer Series will be no different. Expect all the extravagance, energy and vibe in a whole new setting making this run of events both new yet familiar to long-time fans.
