Insomniac and Downtown Las Vegas Events Center will celebrate the return of live entertainment in Las Vegas with a show by one of the most commanding producers in electronic music: deadmau5.
Taking place May 21 with support from Nero (DJ Set) and No Mana, the event will kick off a series of Insomniac concerts across two weekends.
Presented by Insomniac, the outdoor event will mark what would have been the first day of EDC Las Vegas. Insomniac‘s upcoming concert series in the heart of Sin City will deliver a lively energy complete with cutting-edge production and safety precautions in place to welcome music lovers back to the dance floor. The show also marks the return of live events to Downtown Las Vegas Events Center after the mandated pandemic-related shutdown.
“We’ve been doing everything we can to bring happiness and live music back into peoples’ lives, and I’m so excited that we’re finally able to create that experience again,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac. “This is just the beginning of the magic and energy we plan to bring back to the beautiful city of Las Vegas.”
“The return of major live entertainment to Las Vegas is cause for celebration, and we’re thrilled to have DLVEC to be amongst the first venues to kick it off in partnership with Insomniac and deadmau5,” said Derek Stevens, CEO of Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.
“I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Governor Sisolak, Clark County, Nevada Gaming Control Board, the City of Las Vegas and Pasquale Rotella to make this happen.”
In compliance with Clark County and the State of Nevada, Insomniac and Downtown Las Vegas Events Center will be enforcing several COVID-19 requirements to ensure fan safety. Masks will be required to be worn at all times, and proof of first vaccine dose or a negative COVID-19 PCR test no more than 48 hours prior to the show will be required for entry into the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.
