Can you handle 3 weekends of Tomorrowland? World’s best dance music festival is looking for a major comeback in 2021 after they have had to postpone their 2020 edition due to Coronavirus ourbreak— with, potentially, three weekends next summer!
The organisers behind Belgium’s dance music jewel have told Belgian newspaper, Gazet Van Antwerpen, that a third weekend could happen in 2021. The People Of Tomorrow are already super excited and are hoping this will be officially confirmed, as scoring a ticket has become even more of a challenge due to the festival’s growth.
Tomorrowland festival would first need to obtain approval from local authorities in the region of Antwerp to proceed with the three weekend festivities, which will be no easy feat.
Here’s what Tomorrowland spokesperson, Debby Wilmsen had to say about this:
“A third weekend Tomorrowland could be a solution for everyone involved to make up for the completely lost 2020 season and all [of] its consequences, but…nothing has been discussed or decided yet. In any case, we are waiting to see how the situation will evolve in the coming months. Like governments, we cannot see very far into the future at the moment.”
Currently, Tomorrowland is directing all their efforts towards their first ever digital festival “Tomorrowland Around The World” that was announced last week, and will take place Saturday July 25 and Sunday July 26 2020, as this year’s edition “The Reflection Of Love” is postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Confirmed to be part of this astonishing digital festival are world-class artists such as Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Kölsch, Lost Frequencies, Martin Garrix, Paul Kalkbrenner, Steve Aoki, Tale of Us, Tiësto, Timmy Trumpet and many more.
