Defected has announced the acts confirmed for the inaugural Defected Ibiza Festival 2020.
Globally renowned artists including Basement Jaxx, Gorgon City, Purple Disco Machine, Horse Meat Disco, Roberto Surace, Defected‘s own Simon Dunmore and more will be celebrating the start of the Ibiza summer with tickets on sale now.
With artists selected from the Defected, Glitterbox and Classic Music Company rosters, the new festival follows the well-established, sell-out festivals in Croatia and London and is the biggest of Defected’s Ibiza offerings to date.
Highlights are sure to include the sounds of iconic duo Basement Jaxx, who have been providing dance music staples since the mid-90s. Elsewhere, one of Disco House’s biggest names, Purple Disco Machine will be stepping up to the decks to bring the Glitterbox disco vibes which have given him global renown.
No trip to the White Isle would be complete without hearing Ibicenan duo the Mambo Brothers. The Mambo family have been host to Defected’s weekly pre-parties at Café Mambo for many seasons and the Mambo boys have been a staple on Defected line-ups for the last three years. Having released their summer tune, ‘Discoteq’ on DFTD last year they are a perfect fit for this year’s inaugural festival.
Defected will also be joined by the UK powerhouse pair Gorgon City. Residents at Defected Eden last summer, they will be taking over the decks with their expert mixing. Elsewhere, irresistible disco house will be provided by Glitterbox regulars, Horse Meat Disco and exciting new talent, Austin Ato will also be showcasing his skills – this follows on from his stellar performance at Defected Croatia, which proved a standout highlight for Simon Dunmore.
