Tomorrowland will carry on the legacy of the 15th summer edition of its colossal two-weekend event titled The Book of Wisdom, that took place in July earlier this summer with The Book of Wisdom, The Frozen Chapter, which will take place March 14-21, 2020, over Alpe d’Heuz for Tomorrowland’s second annual winter edition. The extension of the 15th year celebration will allow the People of Tomorrow to write another chapter in the mysterious Book of Wisdom.
Last year, “The Hymn of the Frozen Lotus” was the first edition of Tomorrowland Winter, and it captivated the world with its breathtaking set, setting, atmosphere, and environment.
Beyond the music and the winter wonderland, Tomorrowland made sure that their first winter event was going to be something truly epic, and something that everybody would remember for the rest of their lives. They did provide an unforgettable experience, and, certainly, any edition of Tomorrowland will forever be next level, but when there is a world-class ski resort involved, words can never do it justice. People can only truly know of the magic of it with firsthand experience.
Alpe d’Huez is ranked among the top ski resorts in the world. There are endless views and trails for experienced and beginner skiers alike. The slopes are home to the longest ski trail in the world (La Sarenne 16km long). It is the perfect location for people to combine their love for winter sports and festivals at one place, however, attendees that do not enjoy snowboarding or skiing can still have a spectacular experience, Tomorrowland Winter offers numerous activities for people that can not or do not want to participate on the slopes.
Eight epic Tomorrowland stages makeup the festival grounds of Tomorrowland Winter, and extend from the heart of the village at Alpe d’Huez Les Berger throughout the entire ski area, providing attendees a magnificently spread out stomping grounds. While all of the stages have the traditional Tomorrowland flair, the stage at the highest altitude is located on Le Pic Blanc, which sits at a stunning 3,300m.
Dancing Machines take ski lifts to stage hop and can flip between shedding up the slopes, or watching one of the 100 DJs that were flown in from all around the globe including Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Joris Voorn, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, and Lost Frequencies.
Safety is a major concern for Tomorrowland organizers, last year at Alpe d’ Huez, they brought in 120 guards from the Gendarmerie de I’Isere, 22 firefighters, 90 first aid doctors, and the rescue services of CRS des Alpes. They are doing everything in their power to make sure that all of the attendees have help nearby in case of an unforeseen accident or emergency.
25,000 participants will gather at “The Book of Wisdom, The Frozen Chapter” for one of the greatest events in the whole world. People should be doing everything in their power to make it to this event. Do not miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity.
