AMF is set to make history this October, as the festival gears up for its greatest edition yet during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). The biggest indoor rave of the night has officially revealed its full 2019 lineup and an all-star selection of the world’s greatest DJs will be heading to the Dutch capital of Amsterdam on 19 October, as AMF prepares to unite fans from all over the world once again in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
Believe it or not, AMF 2019 will bring together: Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Coone, David Guetta, Don Diablo, Jonas Blue and Tiësto as well as a special return of its world-renowned II=I concept, which sees two major artists go back to back for a unique performance. This year’s edition will see Timmy Trumpet and W&W team up for a high-power set that will go down in history as one of the most iconic performances AMF has ever seen.
Swedish progressive house maestro Alesso is set to bring his own signature sound to AMF. Having made a name for himself through his unmatched production ability, he is responsible for many of the industry’s most iconic hits.
The undisputed king of trance Armin van Buuren will also be making his return to AMF this year. He holds the title as the artist who has topped DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll more times than anyone else, a testament to his far-reaching influence and dedicated fanbase.
French EDM megastar David Guetta is also set to take to the revered AMF stage. The star reigned as the world’s No.1 DJ in 2011, and has further cemented his position as one of the most prolific artists globally, having sold over nine million albums and thirty million singles worldwide.
Global dance music icon Tiësto is making his long-awaited return to the AMF stage and the Dutch Grammy winner is truly ready to return in incredible style. His unparalleled ability to deliver an energy-fueled performance has made him one of the most highly-awaited performers at this year’s edition of AMF.
Dutch home-grown talent Don Diablo will be making his highly-anticipated return to AMF. The future house pioneer’s extensive discography has allowed him to build a global reputation as one of the industry’s most accomplished artists.
Also joining this year’s all-star billing is hardstyle prodigy Coone who was named the highest ranking hardstyle artist in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll, and he has continued to grow in popularity ever since.
British sensation Jonas Blue is also performing at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. With almost 7.5 billion streams and 40 million singles sold, he is certainly a force to be reckoned with. The 5 x BRIT Award nominee has continued to make his mark during 2019.
At each edition, AMF’s II=I concept sees two major artists join forces for a unique B2B performance. II=I offers fans the rare opportunity to see some of the world’s most iconic artists combine their talents for a one-off performance. This year’s II=I set will see Australian powerhouse Timmy Trumpet join forces with dynamic Dutch duo W&W. The artists are set to combine their talents for what is envisioned to be one of the most ferocious performances in AMF history. The supporting artist this year is another Dutch talent, Mike Williams, who will be joined by ZAWDI MC.
Every year, AMF also hosts the crowning of the world’s number one DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll. Previous editions have seen the likes of Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell and Armin van Buuren receive the coveted award. As an undisputed highlight of ADE, AMF has built a reputation as one of the most outstanding events in the world. With such a stellar selection of artists due to take to the stage at AMF this year, tickets are expected to sell at an unprecedented rate.
