Playing host to a wealth of all-star acts, Electronic Family saw approximately 10,000 ravers unite once more over the weekend. The 2019 edition further cemented the reputation of Europe’s biggest outdoor trance festival.
Returning to Den Bosch in the Netherlands for another monumental party, Electronic Family 2019 saw global superstars Above & Beyond bring their unique blend of melancholic emotion and high-energy euphoria to the Dutch location, packing their set with a flurry of huge hits from their Anjuna back-catalogue.
The festival also witnessed the European debut of trance legend Ferry Corsten‘s ‘System F‘ alias, and a truly outstanding performance from Giuseppe Ottaviani, who delivered his critically-acclaimed LIVE 2.0 show.
Set in the Autotron, Electronic Family is surrounded by picturesque scenery amid a selection of indoor and outdoor stages in the depths of the Dutch countryside. Attendees looking to feel the force of the ferocious side of trance gathered at the Who’s Afraid Of 138?! stage to witness high-energy sets from the likes of Push Live, Will Atkinson, Ben Gold, Blastoyz, Stargazers, and global trance icon Jorn van Deynhoven.
With Electronic Family’s very own ambassador Ruben de Ronde hosting his own Progressive stage under his Statement! label for the first time ever in Europe, the ASOT regular was joined by an impressive lineup featuring RODG, Grum, Tinlicker, Estiva, Matt Fax and Lumïsade.
With Andrew Bayer and Estiva also delivering explosive Mainstage sets, Electronic Family represented every facet of the trance genre. The trance classics stage also delivered a number of the most iconic selections from generations gone-by, thanks to DJ Jose, Jacob van Hage, Misja Helsloot, Sied van Riel, and Ton TB. Providing fans with a truly unforgettable experience, an incredible vinyl set from Marco V’s ‘V.ision‘ project illuminated the afterparty as ravers danced long into the night, armed with an arsenal of memories to last forever!
