With this year’s Kappa Futur Festival just a few weeks away, things are hotting up with the announcement of an exclusive opening party and FOUR unmissable after parties, plus they’ve also confirmed the day-by-day stage breakdowns.
Things kick off early this year, with an exclusive opening party confirmed for Friday 5th July at one of Turin‘s premier hot spots – Kogin‘s, with a set from acclaimed Baltimore DJ/producer and visual artist Ge-ology.
The festival itself runs Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July, with the stage breakdowns as follows: Playing the iconic Jager Stage on Day 1 (in alphabetic order) Boys Noize; Derrick May; Jamie Jones; Nic Fanciulli and Patrick Topping, on Day 2: Boris Brejcha; Luciano; Modeselektor live; Nina Kraviz; Peggy Gou; and Vitalic live.
This year’s newly named SEAT Stage welcomes Amelie Lens; Carl Cox; DJ Nobu; Dubfire; Lollino on Day 1, followed by Charlotte de Witte; Enrico Sangiuliano; Len Faki; Richie Hawtin on Day 2.
The Burn Stage returns with one of its strongest line-ups to date: Day 1: Apollonia; Archie Hamilton; Destructo; Enzo Siragusa; Janina; Rossko. And Day 2: The Black Madonna; Dana Ruh; Johannes Brecht live; Ricardo Villalobos; Seth Troxler.
And finally the tree-lined Dora Stage features: Adam Port b2b Reznik; Capofortuna live; HAAi; Prins Thomas b2b Gerd Janson; William Djoko on Day 1, and Denis Sulta; MCDE b2b Jeremy Underground; Red Axes, San Proper on Day 2.
And then come the after parties. This year will see four different parties catering to those who want to keep on going after the festival closes. On Saturday 6th there’s a party at Audiodrome with Patrick Topping, whilst at WOW Club the party is headed up by Derrick May.
After the festival closes on Sunday 7th, there’s the option to afterparty at Audiodrome, this time with Seth Troxler or you can end the weekend at Q35 with I Hate Models. Whatever the choice, all promise to make the Kappa Futur Festival weekend in Torino a truly unforgettable experience.
With the festival just weeks away, tickets are continuing to sell faster than ever before. Currently, over 36,500 tickets have been sold, which is 40% more than this time last year. Across these sales, 45% are international with 91 different nations represented, which puts the festival well on track for their target of welcoming over 100 nations to this year’s event.
