Global online search giant Google has announced its annual year in search list that unveils the most popular names and events searched in 2018. In the category of electronic dance music Armin van Buuren, the Grammy-nominated DJ and producer, has been ranked one of the top 5 artists that people searched on Google this year.
The entire list consist (in chronologic order) Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Fatboy Slim, Benny Benassi, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Laidback Luke, Steve Angello and Marshmello.
With more than 41 million listeners tuning in each week to his SiriusXM radio show “A State of Trance“, Armin van Buuren is considered one of the top DJs and music producers in the world, having been voted as the #1 DJ worldwide five times. Further highlighting his popularity, Armin recently sold out his show in London’s Wembley stadium in less than three hours after tickets went on sale.
