Superstar DJ duo Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano were reportedly detained yesterday at Lasi airport while attempting to board their return trip home after playing at Romania’s Afterhills Festival.
According to BZI, it was discovered that the two were in possession of “white pills, possibly ecstasy” in their luggage during the time of the search. Tests were completed on the pills and it was revealed that the pills were actually vitamins and not the illegal substance in question.
Following the tests, the two were eventually allowed to leave without arrest or any charges.
The situation was further explained in a statement released by Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano’s team,
“Here’s what happened: Sunnery was carrying vitamin pills with him that looked suspicious to one of the custom officers and therefore we were taken with them for an extra check. They wanted to test the pills before letting us leave the country. The lab results showed that there were, of course, no drugs involved so we got back on a flight home. Please everyone, stop speculating. No arrests or charges were made. We are OK!”
