The countdown is on for festival season! For the past few months music events across the country have been announcing their line-ups and activities for what they’re bringing to the table for 2018, and one of those festivals includes Michigan’s one of a kind Electric Forest.
Electric Forest began in 2011 as a small, event held at the Double JJ Resort in Rothbury, MI. What started as humble beginnings grew more each year to become the massive, two-weekend festival that is is today.
Electric Forest 2018 festival will be hosting a stacked roster of artists across both weekends, including superstar acts such as Bassnectar, String Cheese Incident, Marshmello, Jauz, Keys N Krates, Rezz, San Holo, The Glitch Mob, Cookie Monsta, and rapper Lil Dicky.
Along with the line-up, forest is once again bringing back their unique “Plug In” programs, which offers attendees opportunities to attend the festival through various contests and creative projects.
One of these contests includes “The Wish Machine” project, which encourages contestants to share their thoughts on what they would do in order to bring more kindness and sustainability into the world.
Another notable “Plug In” opportunity is the “Art Installation Sponsorship” where the winner would be able to set up an artistic creation of their dreams for display in the forest.
