There have been raves in abandoned warehouses, caves, churches, volcanoes and even an Icelandic glacier. Just when you thought the rave locations couldn’t get any crazier, you thought wrong.
Next month, you’ll be able to dance inside Manchester Central Library as the building will host a huge event. To not much surprise, it will be a silent disco. The library’s ground floor performance space will transform into a dance floor on February 16, as well as a bar that’s open until midnight.
Dj John Ryan from Retro Silent Disco will be the DJ of the night and will be spinning classic tracks from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Although one may think so, this isn’t the first event the Manchester Central Library has thrown.
After their expensive refurbishment, they have thrown a residency from Everything Everything as well as a session from Slow Readers Club. The event will start at 8pm.
