The Coachella 2018 lineup just released featuring some huge names and a whole lot of questions. It seems like the lineup for this year will rely heavily on its Rap headliners all while telling Rock n’ Roll to hit the curb. Some of the big EDM names are ODESZA, Kygo, Rezz, and Illenium.
There are a lot of EDM names on the list along with some names that divulge on the border of R&B and Pop, often settling in the generic Hip-Hop label. Previously Coachella hasn’t been severely interesting to me considering that it attracts a crowd that usually keeps their nose in the air and asks you to point them towards The Chainsmokers.
Luckily for all of us, the Chainsmokers are nowhere near this lineup and that doesn’t just go for them. Marshmello, Steve Aoki, and Afrojack have been pleasantly swapped out for some of the more up and coming unique musicians in the scene which will be an absolute pleasure to watch.
Coachella takes place on April 13-15 and April 20-22, 2018 and all remaining tickets will go on sale this Friday, January 5.
