Earlier this year world renown bass DJ, Excision put on a festival that was unlike anything we had ever seen. Lost Lands was a prehistoric themed bass festival that featured Excision, Zeds Dead, Datsik and more.
The festival’s design also included huge volcanoes, one of the biggest and baddest bass stages I’ve ever seen, and of course, dinosaurs, lots and lots of dinosaurs. I personally didn’t get to go but every person I know that went said they had the absolute time of their life which only added to the hype.
Every year Excision usually uploads his Shambhala set, but this year he is not. Excision took to Twitter to inform his fans that while there is no Shambhala mixtape to look forward to, his annual mixtape will be going out on Tuesday, November 28th. As for Lost Lands 2018 , he had this to say:
Headbangers! Update time! My annual mix will drop Tuesday Nov 28th!!
Lost Lands live sets (video + audio) are coming in early December! Stay tuned for a huge Lost Lands 2018 Announcement coming tomorrow!! 😉— Excision (@Excision) November 16, 2017
I absolutely can’t wait to hear who will be blessing the stomping grounds of Lost Lands 2018 and I personally will be attending next year. On top of that, he announced that in December, live sets would be posted from artists who wished to share their experience with those who couldn’t make it.
