Unfortunately, the bad news seems to continue coming out of Nevada desert. Couple days ago, a Burning Man 2017 attendee jumped straight into fire and died. Now, new reports explain that another burner got hit by a car while sleeping in his tent.
On Monday night, a Ford truck drove into a non-roadway area in Black Rock City and ran into the dark tent where the unidentified male was resting. The female driver of the vehicle stopped and flagged down medical assistance and is said to be cooperating with authorities looking into the incident.
The man suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Reno. As of Tuesday, the man was in an intensive care unit.
