Of the 80,000 attendees that went to Devore’s annual HARD Summer 2017 festival, over 100 were arrested and 19 were taken to local hospitals for medical treatment according to local authorities.
Of the estimated 107 arrests, 45 of those were for charges such as public intoxication, possession and sales of narcotics, and outstanding warrants. California alcohol beverage control officials also made an additional 62 arrests for miscellaneous drug and alcohol charges.
Of those charged, some were held and booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, while others were cited and released.
About nineteen people were also hospitalized during HARD’s weekend. There is no status update regarding those who were hospitalized.
Last year’s HARD event, which was held at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, resulted in the death of three people. Authorities arrested a total of 325 that year as well.
