On june 5, 2017 the Belgian artist Lost Frequencies did something a lot of performers will only dream of. He took the stage in his original hometown and sold out the entire Lotto Arena in Belgium and credits all of it to his tremendous fans.
The coolest part about the whole thing was that his entire set was recorded. The recording will include a masterful introduction and also the audio from his hometown fans.
Throughout his set he takes his screaming fans on a musical journey. He so easily mixed the sounds of classic house, electronic big-room bangers and also previewed some of his new music. To say the least, this wasn’t like some sets we hear today when DJ’s simply push play and dance around the whole time to a pre-recorded set. His talents were displayed like few others.
Lost Frequencies is booked for the upcoming Tomorrowland Festival which might be his biggest act of the summer. If your lucky enough to attend the event you’ll most likely hear his newest collaboration with the drum n bass god, Netsky. We all knew he had talent, but now we know he’s up there with some of the best.
