Its no secret that Insomniac’s founder, Pasquale Rotella, and HARD Event’s creator, Gary Richards, have been barking down each other’s necks in recent years. However, yet another disagreement between the two is adding flame to the fire.
The two event founders have spent several years arguing about the direction and development of the electronic dance music industry in the US. An on-going case of legal battles and rumors have even caused some DJs to withdraw from their events.
OWSLA‘s teal-haired leading lady Mija, took to Twitter to confirm that she is not performing at Gary Richards‘ HARD event this summer due to rave promoter politics. Destructo quickly replied to her tweet saying that he never block artists from playing shows, and he also used the oportunity to fire shots, probably at Insomniac’s boss Pasquale Rotella by stating “Take a guess who does that?”
