The weed world is changing more and more every day. There is a new craze in the hash community – Crystalline Hash, the purest isolate form of THC you will ever find.
At 99.9% THC-A Crystalline is officially the strongest hash in the world, wiping the floor with ice hash, rosin, and BHO which only range from about 50-80% THC, and the strongest marijuana flower is between 25-30% THC.
The demand is so high that THC-A Crystalline is going for incredible $200 a gram in southern California dispensaries. This purified resin is white in appearance and slightly powdery, like fine small rocks.
THC-A Crystalline does not actually contain THC. Rather, THC-A is the raw acid form of the molecule. In its raw form, THC-A is not psychoactive. To convert THC-A into the psychoactive THC, this product needs to be heated. When THC-A is activated by heat in a process called decarboxylation, the acidic carbon atom (the “A” in THC-A) is removed leaving behind the psychoactive THC, the important ingredient in the different kinds of cannabis concentrations.
As a pure THC concentrate, crystalline does not contain the terpenoids or synergistic cannabinoids that other cannabis products contain, and because of that have more uplifting effect.
The experience that you’ll get from a pure THC concentrate will be quite different from what you’d get from smoking a marijuana or using a “lower potency” extraction. The high from this stuff is much more clear headed and energetic, like a shot of some espresso or something spicy that hits the sinuses in a hurry.
Just like you might guess, THC-A CrystaLline has received some criticisms due to its appearance and potency. For many, this product looks a little too much like harder drugs that also come is a crystallized form, such as meth and cocaine.
While some may consider this extreme, this extract has a significant medical purpose. Pure THC-A crystalline allows for the careful dosage of THC.
Since the product is a nearly pure extraction, patients and enthusiasts can get a very precise dose of the cannabinoid by keeping the weight of the amount used in mind.
