Maya Music Festival is one of the fastest growing electronic dance music festivals in Asia, set along the idyllic beaches of Thailand’s south coast. Aiming at combining ancient Thai art with modern music, this event creates a powerful duo of creativity.
After an explosive second edition of Maya Music Festival in 2016, the festival returned for it’s third year– and this time took place at the beach of Pattaya (Bang Lamung), Thailand 17-18 February.
MAYA used the concept of YAK and Hanuman for their 26 meter height mainstage. According to Thai legend, Hanuman was a gigantic demigod monkey whose duty was to protect King Rama, the avatar of god Vishnu.
More than 10000 festival goers from all over the world flocked to the festival site to watch performances from superstar DJs such as Tiesto, ZEDD, KSHMR, Showtek, Blasterjaxx, Timmy Trumpet, Far East Movement, Julian Jordan and Wiwek.
