Returning to Chicago Illinois this year is the city’s annual Spring Awakening Music Festival. This year will mark the 6th time that Chicago and React Presents have hosted the event.
Not only is Spring Awakening the largest festival in the city, but it’s also one of the premier EDM festivals in the Midwest. Previous years have reported upwards of 50,000 party-goers in attendance.
The festival will be located at the beautiful Addams/Medill Park in the heart of Little Italy in Downtown Chicago. Spanning over three days, the massive event will be held from June 9-11.
New this year are the branded stages, including the Dancing Astronaut stage and the well known Anjunadeep stage to go along with the massive Equinox and Solstice stages. Some of the big name headliners performing this year will be Marshmello, Diplo, Datsik, Armin van Buuren, Alesso and Zhu along with many more.
The company throwing the massive event is React Presents. Founded in 2008, the Chicago based festival promotion company deserves a lot of credit for pulling off such large scaled parties in the heart of a city like Chicago. Some other festivals you may have heard that React Presents are a part of are Freaky Deaky, the North Coast Music Festival and Reaction NYE.
