Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 clashes with the New Orleans “Shadow Rap” group named $uicideboy$ over copyright infringement. He claimed they used an “entire section” of his collaboration with Kaskade, “I Remember”, for a track of theirs titled “Antarctica.”
As it turns out, they hadn’t cleared it with the progressive house genius and Mau5trap label owner. Deadmau5 addressed the issue in a number of tweets aimed at the group and their label, G*59 Record$, following the tracks removal from SoundCloud and Youtube.
