A 26-year-old man was found dead by police on Friday night at British electronic dance music festival, Creamfields 2016 near Warrington.
Cheshire Police were called to concerns for a man in one of the Creamfields’ campsites. A 26-year-old man from the Cornwall area was found dead, and the cause of his death is not yet confirmed, because the police are awaiting the results of a post mortem.
“Cheshire Police are reminding people attending Creamfields that we want them to have a great time, but do so safely. Officers continue to take positive action against those who risk others’ lives by attempting to bring illegal drugs onto site” A spokesman for the Cheshire Police said.
“The constabulary wants to remind people that drug supply at Creamfields will not be tolerated, and officers will take robust action where necessary. Last night, we were notified following concerns for a man in one of the campsites and, sadly, a 26-year-old man from the Cornwall area passed away”
“Formal ID is to take place and we are awaiting the results of the post mortem examination to establish the cause of death. Our thoughts are with his family at this time” he added.
